Thanks to Generali's involvement and commitment, Jean Louis Etienne, the famous doctor and explorer, first man to have crossed the Artic in a balloon (Generali Artic Observer), visited us on September 28th.
During his visit, Jean Louis Etienne has expressed his concerns about the global warming that threatens the ice and its animal and plant species. In agreement with our own commitments in the environment and the sorting, Jean Louis Etienne has agreed to sponsor our charter for sustainable development in signing it.
After a visit in the factory and its workshops, Jean Louis Etienne dedicated his book "La traversée du Pôle Nord en ballon" (Crossing the Artic in a balloon) in our factory outlet.
